"After
years of fruitless searching, I have at last found the most wonderful
Tailors in the World. Ravi and staff handmake suits, shirts - anything
- in an incredible range of materials and styles. Accommodating and
helpful, but although cheap not "cheerful" - that is, for one-fifth
of the price of a Savile Row Bespoke Tailor, Ravi will make a suit to
a better standard in less than a month.

DO take a look. In the past six months I've ordered 4 suits (all with
extra trousers) and countless shirts. The last 3 suits have been made
in pure silk and ditto the shirts. Everything fits perfectly and makes
one feel a million dollars. Granted my styles are unorthodox (purple
silk suits with drape jackets anyone ?!) but literally anything can
be made. NOTE !!!!

I am NOT getting a kickback or rake-off or even a free shirt. It takes
a lot to impress me and Ravi has done so repeatedly. Well worth a look
at this wonderful Site - I cannot praise Ravi & Co. enough. If ordering
(and you WILL be tempted) mention my name so Ravi will know I endorse
his firm. If you're a clothes-addict, male OR female, you'll spend longer
on Ravi's Site than mine and I'll lose Sales !!!!!

Viky
Garden is one of my closest friends and customers. She has been a true
Rock for me during horrible times, offering emotional and practical
support from 1000s of miles away. However, her generosity and kindness
is NOT the reason for providing a direct link to her Website.

Viky
is a stunning artist who works in New Zealand in a style that has content
and symbolism and provokes thought. You really should - no, MUST - visit
her Website and take a peek at her work (or a selection of it). Her
reputation is such that she is known not only in New Zealand as an innovative
artist, but hailed worldwide. And her works don't hang around long enough
to "save up for".

They
sell like hotcakes as she has so many devotees. I cannot recommend her
Website highly enough even if it is ONLY an overview of SOME works.
When I make my stash - or stop buying books momentarily - I myself will
be investing in a painting or two.

Unfortunately
my favourite piece when I first looked had gone....... Anyway, if you've
a few minutes to spare, check Viky's Site out. Totally NOT "Bloomsbury"
and difficult for a non-art critic to define a style, but hey ! make
your OWN mind up !

Many
admirers of Virginia Woolf will similarly admire the work of Jeanette
Winterson. I know I do. You can do no better than picking up e.g. "Oranges
are Not the Only Fruit" or come to that, any of JW's books. Jeanette
kicked off her career in 1985 and has since been published in 35 countries
- no mean feat (I think that's probably about the same as "our
Ginny"). Do visit her Site, it's excellent ! Message boards, links
&c. Many, many features and yet more links. It's updated constantly
(unlike so many other Websites) and you can even contact Jeanette herself
by e-mail.
